multidisciplinary institute for child welfare
The Multidisciplinary Institute for Child Welfare, housed within the University of Minnesota’s School of Social Work, is home to several innovative research and training centers—among them, the Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare (CASCW), the Minnesota Linking Information for Kids (Minn-LInK) Project, and the Minnesota Child Welfare Training Academy (MNCWTA).
Together, we are united by a shared mission: to elevate the knowledge, skills, and well-being of the professionals who support children and families. Through collaboration across disciplines, we foster meaningful connections and drive positive change in the field of child welfare.
