This zine series shares a personal story about how ignorance and racism negatively impacted me throughout my childhood and adolescence. Whether driven by prejudice or simple curiosity, my sense of belonging in the U.S. was frequently challenged.

The first zine draws from my childhood experiences; the second captures my emotional journey from junior high through the start of high school; and the third raises awareness about adoption. From my perspective, racism and discrimination leave lasting effects, and this series aims to highlight those challenges while also shining a light on the positive lessons learned.
